Minutemen Missions

At CCS we are committed to serving others in our community and around the world. Our school’s missions program is dedicated to fostering a heart for outreach and service by focusing on a different local organization or missionary each month. On Missions Friday, held the first Friday of every month, students give offerings to support that month’s mission focus and learn practical ways to make a difference in our community and beyond.

2025 Missions/Outreach

Ronald McDonald House Charities - This month kicks off our year-long service project! We will begin collecting pop/soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This organization provides facilities and meals for families with children receiving treatment in local hospitals and medical facilities. In our area, the Ronald McDonald House Charities operates two programs: the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room at UF Health Shand's Children's Hospital. Read more HERE.

Although small, recycled aluminum pop tabs will be weighed at a local recycling center in exchange for funds that go directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida. Students who purchase can drinks on campus will have the opportunity to donate their pop tab in collection tubs across campus. Also, if families would like to start a collection in their home, donations can be dropped off in the front office.
